Therapeutic goal - more quality of life

In many chronic diseases (cancer, pain, MS, COPD) physical symptoms and psychosocial stress occur both in curative and palliative disease process (Glare 2014), caused by

  • the disease itself
  • treatment-related side effects and
  • concomitant disease

These problems can chronify, if they are not caught and treated in time. Consequently, they last a life time (Glare 2014). Furthermore, impairments to quality of life have also an impact on the prognosis of the disease (Quinten 2009). Thus, the best possible preservation of quality of life is one of the most important goals in the treatment of patients.

  • Support yourself and your treatment
  • Document your quality of life and condition
  • Your own contribution - for more quality of life!
